Debra Dear
Debra Dear has been taking photographs for more than 30 years. She is a New York City native and a graduate of the University of Michigan. Currently, Debra Lives in Delray Beach, Florida with her husband and three children. Debra's passion for travel and photography has inspired her to visit more than 70 countries.
In the course of her travels, Debra has photographed many magical places. She has developed a sensitivity to the beauty of the natural world. Her photos make use of natural light and shadow, dramatic colors and striking compositions. These vibrant, unique images bring warmth and serenity to any interior space where they are displayed.
Debra has her work displayed in offices and in homes of several private collectors. Currently, she is in discussion with numerous businesses to brighten up their office spaces.
Then, I start to click and capture the splendor that I see around me. The lens catches the beauty and the timelessness of the moment. Some of my favorite landscapes are the beach, the sunsets, the wetlands of Florida, the mountains, and the desert."
"While taking a photograph, I patiently wait for the perfect moment. I wait for the light, the shadows and the colors to be at their peak. There is a feeling inside of me that lets me know the moment has come.
